Sansita One

Sansita One is a tasty new Omnibus-Type truetype font designed by Pablo Cosgaya in Buenos Aires. The flavor of Sansita One’s lowercase explores the relationship between typography and calligraphy. The elegance of Sansita One’s uppercase makes this an excellent choice for packaging, brief texts, branding and slogans. Modern paintbrush looking letters with respect to custom sign painters and hand lettering from the past. Download Sansita One Truetype font.

Phat Boy Slim

From UK based designer TracerTong, PhatBoy Slim is a nice techy funky PS3 looking typeface. You know the one, that fancy sony stylized logo for the playstation 3. It’s snazzy – this is what you want. Tracer has supplied the face in the typical four styles – normal, bold, bold italic and italic to help it be even more useful. Download Phat Boy Slim TTFs.

Kool Beans

Oh Yahhh? Kool Beans is another commercial logo-inspired freeware typeface from Adam Nerland at Insanitype! Font Design – I like the expressive swashes on some of the letters that make it more than just another free flowing bold type face. “This font is based on the Kool-Aid logo.  It kind of reminds me of a retro surf font or something.  I think it would work well for a logo.  All the brackets and parenthesis as well as the tilde (the squiggley thing at the top-left of your keyboard) are Kool-Aid Man dingbats.  Any other international characters produce a dingbat of yours truly.  If you use it, please let me know!” Download Kool Beans TTF.

ShoeStore

Ya know that funky mall sneaker shop called Journeys? Adam Nerland over at Insanitype took the logo and made it into a pretty nice funky hand-made font with some graffitti “from the streets” appeal. If you are looking for that sort of thing and like the letter o with arrows shooting up down left right, than this font is a great choice.Download the ShoeStore TTF.
