Molot – a nice,  thick and heavy bold choice that would be a great display face – ideal headline – legible from a far poster for a techno industrial group, you get the picture. Upper and lower cases are the same, it’s got numbers and a little more. Not really a font for setting long passasges or big blocks of body copy. Twenty Dee Bee .. 20DB .. a nice retro-flavored OTF type face from Russian designer  Jovanny Lemonad (Ivan Gladkikh). Sort of Art Deco, 20DB is legible and ideal for headlines, titles, display use (i can see it working nicely on posters). It feels a little like Monotypes Broadway typeface, but a little less frilly and deco-ish, a bit more angled and “russian” feeling to me! (does that make sense?) Download 20db OTF and give it a whirl.
