Vernon Adams, from Reading, UK is a super productive (one a week is his goal!) web font designer has brought Six Caps to light, a very nice narrow sans-serif caps only face that reminds me of some old wood display type but also has a modern streamlined feeling.  In some ways it reminds me of a good old angular tall stand-by; Agency Compressed from Font Bureau with refined, smoother composition. Josefin Sans Light is a nice fresh face from Typemade, a new independent foundry based in Monterrey, Mexico. “The idea for create this typeface was to make it geometric, elegant and kind of vintage, special for titling. It is based on 1927 Rudolf Koch’s Kabel, 1930 Rudolf Wolf’s Memphis, 1927 Paul Renner’s Futura. My idea was to draw something with good style, specifically that reflects the swedish design and their passion for good lifestyle, and by default all other scandinavian styles. Bud Null, from Tucson, Arizona based John David from Hands Off! fonts, is a nice free hand-done font that has some of the spirit of Corvinus Skyline mixed with the more straight laced EF Candida. Nice and easy to use, refreshing on a hot summer day. Download TTF of Bud Null.

Tall Films, from Graham Meade of GemFonts (who is also responsible for the earlier posted Easter themed font BUNNY) is a slim, sleek, tall face that has a lot of potential for use in headlines, movie posters, really any display work – legible and with some unique style of its own – it comes in six flavors – Tall, Fine, Oblique, Expanded, Expanded Oblique, and Fine Oblique. Droid, from prolific Canadian (now residing in Japan) font designer Ray Larabie is a nice modern tall and narrow sans serif face ideal for headlines and display use that call for a clean, sleek look – it is supplied in opentype format. Download Droid OTF.

Wallrider, the self proclaimed “font of the streets” is a nice tall drippy venice beach style graffiti face (reminds me of stussy/bones graphics) from Bill Argel, a top skateboard graphic designer from Sao Paulo (for more designs visit his blog) Download Wallrider OTF.
